The Memorialist: Limestone Products Have Many of the Same Uses as Marble & Granite

Question:

I am aware that you folks sell engraved rock, marble, granite, and bronze stone products, but how about limestone?

Answer:

I am less familiar with limestone than the other products; however, our associated companies manufacture a wide variety of products using limestone.

Limestone is used to make a variety of the same products that we manufacture from rock, marble, and granite. For example: business signs, coping, benches, bird baths, planters, address signs, ball finials, balusters, columns, floor tile, gargoyles, entry signs, sills, veneer, slabs, horse hitching posts, columns, mailbox posts, planters, and the like, as well as custom work, are available in limestone.

We are available to work with homebuilders, architects, general contractors and other monument builders, as well as the general public, to provide products for the interior or the exterior of your home. Stone products are beautiful.

The stone that I would recommend would depend upon the application. Granite is an extremely tough and hardy stone known for its durability. Marble is less hard than granite, and limestone is even less hard.

The application will determine the viability of the particular product. Check with a licensed monument builder or other stone professional and investigate the wide variety of options that stone products offer to enrich your business or home decoration.
