 My business is about memorialization, and this is more than just monument building. One of our many products that we offer our clients involves oil paintings.
I include a photo of my best friend in life, Emi "Amy" Takeuchi with the beautiful oil painting that was produced from her photograph. The picture does not do justice to the beauty of her oil painting.
An oil painting of me, made using a portrait taken around 1990, is included too. A friend who was photographed next to me was not included as part of the oil painting. This same portrait will be used on my family memorial. Yes, I know the photo used for this painting was taken 15 years ago, but, when it comes to memorialization, I say, “Do what makes you feel good; No—do what makes you feel great. Life is short, so make the best of it!”
