wpe43.jpg (11058 bytes)Founded in 1892, the McNeel Marble & Granite Company dominated the stonecraft industry during the early to mid twentieth century. Although no longer in existence, this influential company left a legacy that will live forever.

The company was the finest creator of quality artistic memorials. McNeel’s esteemed treatise, “McNeel, The Greatest Name in Stonecraft” cited the company creed that should be a standard bearer for all professionals in the monument industry.

McNeel Creed

“To deal honorably and fairly with all who might seek our services. To build well and to make no promises which we are unable to fulfill. Striving each day to better our product and to rear from our work an organization respected by all with whom it deals.”

Honor, fairness, building well, fulfilling the promises we make, striving to better our products and being an organization that is respected by all; that is a fine mission statement, indeed.
