High-quality designs can be observed on various embroidery websites. Two that were recommended to me were http://www.dakotacollectibles.com and http://www.embroidery.com. Do a search for “Celtic” on embroidery.com, and you will have 23 pages of designs to choose from.
Although, the designs are only for downloading to an embroidery machine, they offer a beautiful selection that should stimulate your interest. Together, we can cut and paste and draw until we create a design that is truly reflective of your family’s heritage. A good search term using www.yahoo.com or www.google.com is “Celtic embroidery design.”
Another excellent source for Celtic designs is to search “Celtic jewelry” or “Celtic jewelry design.” One site that I like is http://www.celtarts.com. We can adapt those beautiful jewelry designs to create a beautiful heirloom memorial to honor your family.
