The Memorialist: New Monument Styles: A Beautiful Angel With Arms Around A Big Heart

wpe29.jpg (7721 bytes)I like angels, how about you? No, I’m not writing in the sense of Biblical angels, but as angels are used in memorialization, which is certainly influenced by Biblical literature.

Symbolism in memorialization has been taking place since the beginning of memorialization. Symbols create a robust and lasting idea, and in less area than words might.

Angels are often portrayed in symbolism as cherubs, seraphs, or as the Guardian Angel. When I look at this beautiful design, I think of a Guardian Angel, as the angel has her arms around the heart of a memorial for a loved one.

Angels are powerful imagery for us mere mortals. They give us comfort, and this memorial is one of the most spectacular angel designs I have ever seen. Available in beautiful red, as shown, polished black, or any other color you may desire, this beauty is available in a wide range of sizes, from infant size to singles, doubles, or as centerpiece memorials.

The monument shown with this article was designed by one of our sources. This memorial is shown without the base that usually accompanies this memorial. The base typically comes with a polished flat top with a polished margin and balance rock pitch on the bottom of the base.

The front, back, and top of this memorial is polished. Red and black granite versions of this monument are readily available.

Though not shown in the photograph, this memorial comes standard with a polished flat top-base and polished margin and balance rock pitch along the bottom of the base.

As with all designs, to obtain a price estimate, we start with the design and the length, width, and height for the tablet and the base, as well as any upgrade features you would like, such as a wash on the base. Also, a sub base in either the same or a different color would be great addition for this monument.

Possible large scale dimensions for this monument might be the following:

Tablet: 6-0 x 0-10 x 6-0
Base: 8-0 x 1-4 x 1-0

A minimum 8-inch width would be recommended for the width of the tablet, and a width of 10 or more inches would be spectacular. As always, monuments can be scaled upwards or downwards so long as proper proportions are maintained.

If you love angels, then you will love this beautiful angel monument. This will be a comforting and beautiful memorial for anyone who believes in a higher power.
